The Role

The IT Hardware Logistics Supervisor is required to work within and lead a team of hardware engineers carrying out logistics and stores activities at our client's sites.

The work will include all types of stores and logistics activities. The position will be site-based as required and reports to the Stores Campus Supervisor. The role involves interaction with internal peers, team leaders, supervisors, and the Service Delivery Manager, as well as external client end-users, client IT staff, and third-party vendors.

What you’ll be doing as our IT Hardware Logistics Supervisor:

• Operations Leadership: Lead and supervise onsite logistics and stores operations at client locations.
• Team Management: Manage and support a team of Logistics Engineers, allocating workload to meet SLAs.
• Asset Lifecycle: Oversee goods in/out, stock control, inventory tracking, and asset lifecycle management.
• Equipment Handling: Ensure secure handling, storage, labelling, transfer, and disposal of IT equipment (including HDD/media and e-waste).
• Coordination: Coordinate deliveries, collections, spares dispatch, and supplier engagement.
• Data Integrity: Maintain accurate records across asset management systems, scanners, and SharePoint trackers.
• Planning: Plan and schedule logistics activities supporting BAU operations and project-based work.
• Compliance: Ensure full compliance with health & safety, quality standards, and client procedures.
• Escalation: Escalate risks, issues, and priorities to management where required.
• Reporting: Produce operational reports, documentation, timesheets, and updates.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a key point of contact for clients, internal teams, and third-party vendors.

The Role

The Service Delivery Manager ensures all client contractual obligations are met efficiently within the Service Delivery team. This role manages Managed Services in Workplace Technology or Data Centres for major Financial Services Institutions, focusing on physical support operations in the client environment.

Working in conjunction with the account manager, you will develop and maintain client relationships, acting as a single point of contact for delivery and escalation with all elements of the managed services contract.

You will work with local customer stakeholders and onsite staff to ensure the business requirements of the contract are met and, should failures occur, that the appropriate root cause analysis and corrective actions are executed.

What you’ll be doing as our Service Delivery Manager:

• Team Management: Focus and motivate the Services and Technical teams on the necessary attributes for successful delivery of all supported services for our client.

• Manage stock in a cost-effective manner and ensure sufficient materials are available at all times for efficient installation.

• Compile progress reports and provide information in a logical format to the Project Manager.
• Carry out quality checks on all works carried out by cabling engineers to ensure all Quality Standards are met.
• Read and understand site drawings, updating them "as and when" work is completed.
• Attend and document client meetings and ensure all required actions are carried out in a timely manner.
• Compile processes and produce documentation as required to meet company and client standards.
• Draw up patching schedules and ensure timely implementation of patching requirements.
• Ensure all required installations are documented as specified.
• Draw up Operations and Maintenance manuals as required.
• Assist in any urgent installation works as and when required.
• Ensure project profitability is maximized at all times.

Converged Network System (CNS) Design Engineer

Structured Cabling Design with Active Network Integration

Position - Full-time Permanent

Job Description

Reporting to both the CNS Design Manager, you will scope, design, cost and produce proposals for

active and passive CNS solutions that meet and exceed our clients' Smart Building aspirations.

Converged Networks are at the very core of every smart building solution and ensuring the design,

operability, security, resilience and cost of these network systems is essential in ensuring compliance

with client requirements and competitiveness in the market place.

This is a full time role where you will integrate into the Design Team and work

closely with the Project Teams, clients, the project Consultants and all project IP

stakeholders.

This role includes all aspects of pre-sales and pre-construction works, from initial enquiry stage

design interpretations through to Stage 4 pre-construction design enhancements.

70% of the role will involve the production of passive network infrastructure designs, inclusive of

fibre optic and blown fibre backbone cabling, Category 6/6A/7 cabling, containment system reviews

and recommendations, Equipment Room layouts, cabinet layouts, cabling runout schedules and

patching schedules. The other 30% will include the active network design in conjunction with the

Network Architect, inclusive of the production of technical submissions, schematic drawings for

active network proposals (Firewalls, Core Switches, Access & Distribution Switches, Wi-Fi Controllers,

Access Points, UPS systems etc)

Candidates will ideally have a minimum of 3 year’s experience in the design of construction-based IT

Network or CNS projects with values up to £3m.

Ideally with experience of reading and understanding consultant issued structured cabling & active

network specifications. Knowledgeable of the design processes from TIDP/IRS formulation through

to construction issued drawings and the full approval process in between.

Be capable of raising RFI’s and developing employer’s requirements into value engineered,

standards compliant network designs as part of the Design Team.

Candidates will have a strong knowledge of, and be confident in the design of systems in the

following disciplines:

• Structured Cabling Systems (Cat 6, 6A, 7, Singlemode, Multimode Fibre & Bloduct systems)
• LAN, WAN and WLAN technologies & services
• Firewalls, VLANs, Network & Cyber Security
• Servers (including Virtualised Server Environments) & Network Management platforms.
• Voice over IP (VoIP) principles

You will need to be

• A strong and confident communicator.

Qualifications (not essential if previous experience is strong but the preference would be for):

Position Overview

We are currently recruiting experienced Data Cabling Contract Engineers to support a variety of structured cabling installation projects throughout London. The roles involve working within active commercial construction sites and live data centre environments. We are looking for productive, self-starting professionals who can work effectively as part of a technical team.

Technical Scope of Work

• Copper Installation: Professional installation, termination, and testing of Cat6 and Cat6a cabling.
• Fibre Optics: Skilled handling and installation of various fibre optic cable types.
• Testing & Documentation: Ensuring all installations meet project specifications through rigorous testing and precise labeling.

Essential Requirements

To qualify for this role, engineers must have the following in place:

• Certification: A valid ECS Card is mandatory.
• Tooling: Must provide own hand tools for data termination, as well as power tools (specifically drills).
• Labelling: Ownership of a Dymo or equivalent industrial labeling machine.
• Safety: Full 5-point PPE (Hard Hat, High-Vis, Steel Toe Boots, Safety Glasses, and Gloves).

Working Hours & Compensation

Day Rates: Paid on a weekly basis. Ideally, looking for contractors set up with UTR numbers, to be paid via the CIS scheme.

Shift Patterns: Standard days start between 07:30 and 08:00 for a minimum of 8 hours.

Overtime: For engineers seeking additional hours, 10–12 hour shifts are frequently available depending on project requirements.
